One Trick You May Want to Try to Combat Stress

I’ll be honest, I get stressed out VERY easily. Even with the little things. I’ve begun to realize how stress effects the body and its negative impact on our health and well-being.

Making time for ourselves is critically important in allowing our body and mind to function at optimal levels. Although, I know it may seem impossible with crazy busy schedules sometimes. However, if we take the time to rest and recuperate, we’ll more likely be better able to handle stress. Our performance will most likely improve because we will have the energy and motivation to tackle the day’s tasks!

Practicing Self-Care

That being said, I decided to share an article today that describes the benefits of one of my favorite ways to de-stress and unwind–epsom salt baths!

Recently, I’ve been trying to make it a priority to take an epsom salt bath at least once a week. I like to take mine on Sundays so I’m ready to tackle the week ahead of me. I also like to add calming essential oils like lavender, eucalyptus, or spearmint to enhance the relaxation effects. After each one, my mind and body feel like someone has physically pulled away and released all the tension throughout my body. It’s amazing.

Check out this article from PaleoHacks for yourself and learn why epsom salt baths really work and all the great benefits!

Get ready to light some candles, dim the lights, and soak away all the stress and tension from your mind and body! 🙂
